Come party where Mardi Gras is made! The Mardi Gras World Float Den is full of big colorful floats and larger-than-life props that add an element of Carnival to any event. Though it’s a working warehouse by day where the Blaine Kern Artists create floats for 40 of the 54 Mardi Gras parades, by night, Mardi Gras World’s Float Den is a stellar way to give guests a taste of Mardi Gras year-round.  Surrounded by the brilliantly lit floats and hundreds of fantasy-inspired props, guests can walk the red carpet through Mardi Gras World, cocktail in-hand, as revelers toss beads from floats and teach your guests to shout “Throw Me Somethin’, Mister!” Make this the backdrop for an unforgettable cocktail hour or the brilliant entrance to any event.

Mardi Gras World is able to give your guests the experience of Mardi Gras with access to these much coveted floats. Offer your guests a glass of Hurricane on their way in, have tour guides available to answer questions and explain the history and context of the magnificent floats, and even show them how the floats are made with artists working in the prop shop during their visit. Set up tables among the floats so that guests can enjoy the spectacle all night, or walk your party on through to a final destination in one of our other stellar venues.
